Can I use imovie on my macbook as a live webcam?

For a job application, I am required to do an online "audition". I've been told to book a time and have the use of "access to a webcam, mic, high-speed (preferably wired) internet connection". I have a macbook with mac os x with imovie 09. Can I do what is required with this?
