What are the bad sides to being a model?

would like some background info on it (best if it were from someone who has experience), since this agent person at the mall came to me and asked if i wanted to audition. I'm a junior in high school and i'm looking for a job over the summer. however i've heard that there are a lot of negative sides to this job.
