How to deal with clingy Ex boyfriends?

well what you can tell him is if he really loves you that he should respect your feelings and your opinion..that you honestly only think of him as just a friend and that honestly the harder he tries to push you the more you dont want to talk to him...if he refuses to respect your space and stop talking about being 'soul mates' then tell him you wont even consider him as a friend...theres nothing wrong with not seeing him the way he sees you..i mean i know you must feel bad but its not your fault that he is trying so hard and has such strong feelings..if he does not respect you the way a friend should..then he doesnt love you the way he thinks he does..and i dont think hes worth keeping around if he wont back off when you honestly ask him to...good luck =]
